Hello from Typekirk
I have been releasing display fonts sporadically for nearly a year. This site launch is long overdue. Also overdue are my regular font releases, for while I’ve released only a few fonts, I have designed and programmed about 150 of them during the past couple of years.
I’ve just released a companion pattern font to Ribbed, called Ribbed Patterns. It is an incredibly easy-to-use font that enables custom patterns in seconds flat. Just type and you’re done. You change or adjust your pattern by adjusting the leading or tracking. While it is tailor made for use with the Ribbed font, the patterns have a great deal of versatility, and can help you easily add sophistication to your designs.
More fonts are on the way, including both display and text fonts. The first is a fun all caps font called Whim, which features regular and bold weights, as well as two widths. The uppercase is regular width, and the lower case is narrow width.
An upcoming release will be Part 1 of a super-family of fonts, which includes 10 weights plus italics. It will be the first straight, precision-edged font I’ve put out.
